Once you hit the green Select button you’ll end up on the domain name page.  This is where the fun begins!  Choose a good, short, easy-to-spell, and relevant domain name for your business.  Keep in mind that the best .com names are long gone so get creative or use a .net if you need to.  If you need some help please take a few minutes to read this article I wrote on the topic: domain name tips.
HTML website templates are pre-made layouts for websites based on HTML5 and CSS3 code combined with JavaScript, Bootstrap and other frameworks. A typical HTML template download package offers a number of website pages, stylesheets and JavaScript files made with valid and well-commented code. Provided PSD files allow modifying the appearance of a template, while the content can be inserted using a code editor.

We can setup the website to automatically post all new content to Facbeook. This helps get each new page a backlink from Facebook, which in turn will help new pages get indexed. Besides new pages on the site, it is also a good idea to post other content to Facebook, and we can use RSS feeds for that. This will help keep our Facebook pages looking "real" and not just self-promoting pages.

There are a lot of very crafty, cunning people who know just how to present an ‘empty’ website to make it look glamorous and exciting, great build, beautiful graphics and plausible looking metrics (it’s funny but a lot of people overlook the number crunching once they get the ‘web bug’) and they produce these sites by the dozen - it is their forte and they know the market, just how the novice thinks - believe me they are just waiting for the next sucker (never give a sucker an even break). There - that is my advice, take it or leave it!
Add plenty of content – ten blog posts and five reviews won’t buy you a trip to Disneyland. You need plenty of traffic and better SEO rankings, and the only way to get both is to publish high quality content consistently. Note: The more the content, the more the opportunities you have to place your affiliate links. That’s right, you can place your links in blog posts, pages, reviews, case studies, interviews, podcasts and videos among others.

When you develop websites, time is money, and money is time. The more shortcuts you have and pre-made forms you can use, the better; it saves you hours of programming, allowing you to work on the actual website design. However, you don’t want to just use any template or form. The form needs to be easy to drop in, customizable, functional, and most of all, attractive.

Each pre-made website that we build has a total of 6 blog posts (10,000 words = 1 pillar article, 1 buying guide and 4 product reviews) that are geared towards converting your visitors into sales, and include full keyword research to ensure that the search engines know what to rank you for, and that you have a fighting chance of showing up near the top of the search results pages.
I think “turnkey” in general lives up to the name, and that’s where its appeal is. Simple, easy, and you don’t have to have any web skills to get started. Obviously the marketing strategies for these types of businesses are geared towards selling these cheap sites to naive buyers without an ounce of web knowledge, and probably not much business sense either. I have found that regardless of what you do online, if you don’t have the patience to learn your niche, and that means a lot of research and trial and error, you’re not going to have much success with these types of sites either.
Many site owners in affiliate marketing focus on keywords with high buyer intent. While that's not a bad strategy, it can present some risks. First, it’s important to have keyword diversity. Relying too heavily on one or two keywords can lead to your site being penalized by search engines. So, when you’re building links, be sure to vary the anchor text.

May – July 2016: 0 articles published. To be honest, I hadn't really been paying attention to how much this site was making.  I knew it was doing well, but I was shocked in July to see exactly how well it was doing on its way to a $3k month.  So, in July I decided its time to refocus on the site (only 4 articles had been published in all of 2016 and yet the site continued to grow really well).  We decide to find another 100 low competition keywords and start publishing more content.  My hypothesis is that more low competition content = more traffic!  I was right before, and I suspect I'll be right again.  The plan is to have these additional 100 articles published between August and December 2016.

Nick Schäferhoff is an entrepreneur, online marketer, and professional blogger from Germany. He found WordPress when he needed a website for his first business and instantly fell in love. When not building websites, creating content or helping his clients improve their online business, he can most often be found at the gym, the dojo or traveling the world with his wife. If you want to get in touch with him, you can do so via Twitter or through his website.
If your agency tends to gravitate toward a particular niche, this method can be incredibly successful. Let’s say you focus on building websites for restaurants. You’ve probably identified a few things they all have in common: menus, hours of operation, photos of the food, etc. It’s noble to create a custom solution for every single client that comes knocking on your door, but the truth is – not all of them need a custom solution. Many will just want something that looks professional, works, and sticks within their budget. That’s exactly where a turnkey website comes in.
By purchasing one of our pre-made websites, you’re actually making an investment into your business, and some of the most successful people we know all understand the value of spending money to make money, especially when it comes to saving themselves time and purchasing from professionals that know more about the process than the entrepreneurs and marketers, themselves, do.
No. It’s very important to have high quality unique content for search engines like Google. You could have all kinds of awesome comparison tables, but if you don’t have any actual content (text) on the site then you won’t be able to “rank” for anything on Search Engines which is usually the best way to drive quality traffic to your site and make affiliate sales.
We are shining light on this area today. Product review sites such as dpreview.com host expert reviews about products you’ve used or tested. You can also welcome reviews from users who have used said product in the past to enrich your content. You earn an affiliate commission when the user you refer to the retailer makes a purchase or completes any other desired action.

The product review website model is great since many shoppers use the internet to save time researching their potential purchases. If you choose this website type be prepared to face alot of competition. Since there are so many review sites out there you must find an approach or ‘hook’ that is unique to set your site apart. It’s best to drill down into a small segment of your niche and expand from there instead of casting a large net over an entire market.

I've been building affiliate websites for more than a decade, and earning a decent income from those sites.  The great thing about affiliate websites is that if you build them correctly, they'll mature over time and reward you month after month, year after year in passive income.  However, if you build them incorrectly, you will simply be wasting your time.  In the last few years, Google have tightened the noose around webmasters out to make a quick buck by gaming the system.  This course was created to show you how I build successful affiliate websites now, in 2018 and beyond.  I'll take you from the very beginning and show you, over-my-shoulder, how I:
The implementation of affiliate marketing on the internet relies heavily on various techniques built into the design of many web-pages and websites, and the use of calls to external domains to track user actions (click tracking, Ad Sense) and to serve up content (advertising) to the user. Most of this activity adds time[citation needed] and is generally a nuisance to the casual web-surfer and is seen as visual clutter.[citation needed] Various countermeasures have evolved over time to prevent or eliminate the appearance of advertising when a web-page is rendered. Third party programs (Ad-Aware, Adblock Plus, Spybot, pop-up blockers, etc.) and particularly, the use of a comprehensive HOSTS file can effectively eliminate the visual clutter and the extra time and bandwidth needed to render many web pages. The use of specific entries in the HOSTS file to block these well-known and persistent marketing and click-tracking domains can also aid in reducing a system's exposure to malware by preventing the content of infected advertising or tracking servers to reach a user's web-browser.[citation needed]
You can find the BEST sites right here in the forum. Seriously, there are some great sites that you can easily make money with BUT you still need to WORK them. These sites are designed from fellow internet marketers...just because someone designs, does not mean they know internet marketing and what it takes to get CONVERSIONS. But the designers here in the forums DO KNOW what it takes.
Your Dropshipping Niche: A great drop shipping niche is key. If you are using free forms of marketing, you want to choose a niche that you can bring value too. Reason being free marketing most often results in writing blogs and adding valuable social media post. However, if you plan on using paid marketing, find a niche where buyers have to go online to get the product. Choose a product where the majority of people can’t buy from a local Walmart.

Great article. Thanks for writing it. I am right now picking my theme and building my wordpress. I have my hosting and domain name. What I don’t get though from the article is whether you have to apply to Amazon to be an affiliate or if they accept everyone. How does that all work? Like if I build my site and post links to amazon’s products, they wouldn’t have my details to pay me my commission. Do the templates do all that for you automatically? I am finding it hard to choose one because I want one that automatically integrates the amazon products without making my blog look like a shop per se. I’m going to have a look on the amazon site to see if there’s any clues there. But I thought that was the finishing and crucial touch, which forgive me, seems missing from your well explained and detailed article.
Your web host is responsible for hosting all of the files necessary for your site to function. When choosing a web host you’re going to have a variety of options to choose from. Some will be dedicated towards sites with large volumes of traffic, while others will specifically host WordPress sites. We offer a detailed breakdown of hosting options here.

In 1994, Tobin launched a beta version of PC Flowers & Gifts on the Internet in cooperation with IBM, who owned half of Prodigy.[6] By 1995 PC Flowers & Gifts had launched a commercial version of the website and had 2,600 affiliate marketing partners on the World Wide Web. Tobin applied for a patent on tracking and affiliate marketing on January 22, 1996, and was issued U.S. Patent number 6,141,666 on Oct 31, 2000. Tobin also received Japanese Patent number 4021941 on Oct 5, 2007, and U.S. Patent number 7,505,913 on Mar 17, 2009, for affiliate marketing and tracking.[7] In July 1998 PC Flowers and Gifts merged with Fingerhut and Federated Department Stores.[8]
While affiliate marketing has been incredible for me, back when I first started in 2009, I had absolutely no idea how to build a website. Even to this day, I am still not the most technically advanced person. That’s why I decided to create this tutorial on how to create your first affiliate marketing website. I feel like if I can just help you to get started, from there, you’ll be off and running. So many people never start just because building a website seems so overwhelming.
Many years ago, I was a broke college student in debt up to my eyeballs. I couldn’t even afford my own place. I became a full-time over-the-road truck driver and was working 70 to 80hrs+ per week, away from home for weeks or even months at a time, and was living in a space the size of a walk-in closet. To make matters worse, I was getting paid chump change.

“I looked high and low for a Squarespace template that would fit my needs before finding 23&9 Creative, and I can't tell you how thankful I am that I didn't settle for something else!  As a brand designer by trade, I rarely have time or energy to focus on my own brand (terrible, I know), so I wanted something that was both aesthetically pleasing and super easy to implement. In each template video, you learn exactly how to customize the site to your particular business, while receiving a full tour of Squarespace along the way. I feel like a Squarespace guru now, despite knowing very little beforehand! Not to mention, Chelsea is incredibly friendly and readily available if you have any questions! This website template made my personal rebranding so much simpler and hassle-free, and I'm forever grateful!”
